There are a great many theories about life and the world we live in. Throughout the centuries, people have tried to make sense of their world, what they are seeing, and life in general. One such theory is the digital reality (DR) theory. This is not something that most people are familiar with, but it is something that has been around for some time.
Digital Reality Theory
On the surface, digital reality theory says that life is nothing but a simulation. The simulation is controlled by someone outside who is making all the ultimate decisions. There is also an external person who has the final say in how reality functions and what's happening within that reality. Those two beings or forces may be the same entity, but not necessarily.
Range of Belief
There are many people who believe in digital reality theory. Not all people have the same amount of belief in it or even feel the same way about DR theory. On one end of the spectrum, there are people who believe that this theory is nothing but a theory, and that reality is actually real. Their counterparts at the other end believe that the world and everything in it and everything they encounter is nothing but a simulation. They believe that the simulation is so good that the average person wouldn't be able to distinguish the simulation from reality. It can be impossible for anyone to test whether or not reality is a simulation, so it is impossible to actually know if DR theory is true.
Computers and Digital Reality Theory
Part of some beliefs about digital reality theory is that the external force that is controlling the simulation is some kind of computer. Some of the problems with this theory include the fact that the technology of today isn't complicated or strong enough to generate the detail that a simulated reality would require. The answering point to that is that if computers were the directing force of the digital simulation, then the computers that are in the simulation wouldn't be able to run a simulation, because it would otherwise prove that reality isn't real but only a simulation.
People have spent years of their life trying to understand the meaning of life. There are a number of theories and beliefs that have come into being over the centuries. One of those theories that people have managed to come up with is the digital reality theory.
